2005 Choice of Court Convention enters into force for Monaco

The HCCH has announced that the Convention of 30 June 2005 on Choice of Court Agreements entered into force for the Principality of Monaco on 1 March 2026. The entry into force followed Monaco’s deposit of its instrument of accession on 27 November 2025; 38 States and the European Union are currently bound by the Convention.
