An APEC workshop focusing on making it easier to do business through the Hague Conventions was held on 12 August 2014 in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. It was organised by the Department of Justice of Hong Kong, China, in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Regional Office of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH).
More than 40 participants from 12 APEC member economies and international organisations attended the workshop. They included government officials, judges, academics and practitioners, bringing together a range of professional and institutional perspectives on facilitating cross-border business through the Hague Conventions.
