Armenia seeks membership of the Hague Conference
Development summary
On 8 November 2013, the Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law formally opened the six-month voting period on the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ proposal to admit the Republic of Armenia as a new Member of the Organisation. The Netherlands made the proposal in response to Armenia’s interest in joining the Hague Conference, and existing Members were to submit their votes by 6 May 2014.
