Fifth meeting of the Experts’ Group on Parentage / Surrogacy
Development summary
The HCCH Experts’ Group on Parentage and Surrogacy held its fifth meeting in The Hague. Experts from different States, observers and members of the Permanent Bureau attended the meeting.
The Group’s work focuses on exploring whether further work can be advanced on private international law issues surrounding the status of children. Its mandate also covers issues arising from international surrogacy arrangements.
