First meeting of the HCCH Experts’ Group on Digital Tokens
Development summary
The HCCH Experts’ Group on Digital Tokens met for the first time on 16-18 June 2025 in hybrid format. The meeting brought together 53 delegates and other experts, representing 18 HCCH Members and 8 Observers, together with members of the HCCH Permanent Bureau. The Group had been established pursuant to the CGAP decision of March 2025 to study the private international law issues raised by digital tokens, subject to available resources.
