Fourth meeting of the Working Group on the financial aspects of intercountry adoption

Development summary

From 3 to 6 December 2024, the HCCH Working Group on the Financial Aspects of Intercountry Adoption met for the fourth time. Held in hybrid format, the meeting brought together 39 delegates and other experts, including representatives of 16 HCCH Members, three non-Member Contracting Parties, three Observers and members of the Permanent Bureau. Pursuant to its mandate, the Working Group continued to take stock of current practice, to identify possible coordinated, targeted and practical approaches, and to prioritise them.
