The Francophone Seminar on the 1993 Hague Adoption Convention took place in The Hague, the Netherlands, from 22 to 26 June 2009. It aimed to bring together experts and judges from different French-speaking countries.
The Hague Conference on Private International Law organised the seminar in partnership with the French Institute of the Netherlands, the Organisation internationale de la francophonie, and the governments of Belgium’s French-speaking community, Canada, France, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
