Harmonisation of private international law norms in Ukraine in the context of European integration

The article examines how private international law norms in Ukraine are being harmonised in the course of European integration. It distinguishes harmonisation from unification, identifies the main groups of norms subject to harmonisation—particularly conflict-of-laws, substantive and procedural rules—and considers the role of international treaties, universal and regional conventions, EU acts and judicial practice.
