HCCH Working Group meets on parentage and surrogacy
Development summary
The HCCH Working Group on Parentage / Surrogacy held its fourth meeting from 7 to 11 April 2025 in hybrid format. The meeting brought together 41 delegates and other experts, together with members of the Permanent Bureau, to continue considering draft provisions for a new instrument on legal parentage, including legal parentage arising from an international surrogacy agreement.
