Ku Leuven masterclass to explore arbitration between States

KU Leuven Faculty of Law and Criminology has scheduled a masterclass on arbitration between States for 28 November 2025 as part of its 2025-2026 Legal Clinics programme. Delivered by Dr Dirk Pulkowski of NATO's Office of Legal Affairs, “A View from the Engine Room: Arbitrating Disputes between States” begins with the identification of the jurisdictional basis for arbitration.
The session is intended to take students through the process from the appointment of arbitrators and procedural meetings to provisional measures, written submissions and evidence, the hearing and the arbitral award. Ethical rules are listed for discussion if time permits.
