Kyiv round table addressed international-law implementation in intercountry adoption

Development summary

An international round table on the implementation of international law in intercountry adoption in Ukraine was co-organised in Kyiv on 6 and 7 November 2008. The event was jointly organised by Ukraine’s Ministry for Family, Youth and Sports and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe’s Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine.

Following discussions and consultations over the two working days, the round table considered it appropriate to issue recommendations to Ukraine.
