Regional Workshop on Intercountry Adoption held in Manila

Development summary

The Regional Workshop on Intercountry Adoption was held in Manila, Philippines, from 11 to 13 March 2025 to enable States in Asia to share experience and good practice on the effective implementation of the 1993 Adoption Convention. It brought together 72 participants, including representatives of eight Contracting Parties, two non-Contracting Parties, one intergovernmental organisation, one non-governmental organisation and members of the HCCH Permanent Bureau.
