Residence Permit for Victims of Human Trafficking in Turkish Foreigners Law
Development summary
This article addresses the residence permit available to foreign victims of human trafficking under Turkish foreigners law. It examines Article 48 of Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection, including the initial permit of up to thirty days, the possibility of extension for a period of not less than six months and up to three years where the victim cooperates, and the related conditions, extension and cancellation issues, with reference to the Law, the Implementation Regulation and the Regulation on Combating Human Trafficking and Protecting Victims.
