Save the Date: HCCH a|Bridged - Edition 2021: Enabling party autonomy with the 2005 Choice of Court Convention

Development summary

On 27 July 2021, the HCCH Permanent Bureau announced that the 2021 edition of HCCH a|Bridged would focus on the 2005 Choice of Court Convention and take place online on 1 December 2021.

The event was sponsored by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection and supported by the Caribbean Court of Justice Academy for Law, the American Association of Private International Law (ASADIP) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). It would address contemporary issues concerning the Convention’s application.
