Second meeting of the Working Group on Article 33 of the 1996 Child Protection Convention
Development summary
On 22 April 2026, the Working Group’s second meeting on the operation of Article 33 of the 1996 Child Protection Convention was held online, hosted by the Permanent Bureau. The meeting brought together close to 65 registered delegates and experts, representing 31 HCCH Members, two Observer non-Member Contracting Parties and one Observer organisation, alongside Permanent Bureau members. Pursuant to its mandate under C&D No 26 of CGAP 2024, the Working Group continued work on a Model Form for requests under Article 33 and discussed its possible content and structure.
