Second meeting of the Working Group on institutions analogous to trusts

Development summary

The HCCH’s second meeting of the Working Group on the study relating to institutions analogous to trusts took place online on 6 and 7 October 2025, hosted by the Permanent Bureau. More than 25 registered delegates and other experts took part, representing eight HCCH Members and five Observers, together with members of the HCCH Permanent Bureau. Pursuant to its mandate under CGAP 2025 Nos 70-72, the Working Group reviewed the latest draft of the Note on the application and interpretation of Article 2 of the 1 July 1985 Convention on the Law Applicable to Trusts and on their Recognition.
