Sixth Meeting of the Working Group on the Financial Aspects of Intercountry Adoption
Development summary
The HCCH Working Group on the Financial Aspects of Intercountry Adoption held its sixth meeting online on 21 May 2026, hosted by the Permanent Bureau. Around 35 registered delegates and experts took part, representing 16 HCCH Members, three Observer non-Member Contracting Parties and three Observer organisations, alongside members of the Permanent Bureau; under its mandate, the Working Group completed its work on draft Fact Sheet No. 3 of the Toolkit for Preventing and Addressing Illicit Practices in Intercountry Adoption and the draft Note on the Financial Aspects of Intercountry Adoption.
