Development summary

A conference on the cross-border recognition and enforcement of judgments was held on 17 June 2014 in St Petersburg, Russian Federation. It was organised jointly by the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) and the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

More than 40 participants attended from the Russian Federation and five other jurisdictions. They included government officials, judges, academics and practitioners, bringing together perspectives from the principal professional groups involved in the cross-border recognition and enforcement of judgments.
