Cansu Kaya ex­am­ines the legal frame­work gov­ern­ing the em­ploy­ment rights of for­eign­ers hold­ing tem­por­ary pro­tec­tion status in Türki­ye. The study ad­dresses the legal po­s­i­tion of people covered by tem­por­ary pro­tec­tion who cannot return to their coun­tries and remain in Türki­ye.

It fo­cuses on the changes in this area brought by the In­ter­na­tion­al Labour Force Law and the Tur­quoise Card Reg­u­la­tion made under it. Kaya also sets out the in­nov­a­tions that these in­stru­ments in­tro­duce into in­ter­na­tion­al pro­tec­tion law.
