Today, 1 September 2023, the Convention of 2 July 2019 on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters (2019 Judgments Convention) entered into force, just over four years after its adoption on 2 July 2019.
On 14 March 2023, the Permanent Bureau of the HCCH announced that registration had opened for a conference on the 2019 Judgments Convention. The in-person event is scheduled to take place on 9 and 10 June 2023 at the University of Bonn in Germany.
