Call for papers: 5th APILA Con­fer­ence, Seoul, 12–13 Decem­ber 2026

The Asian Private In­ter­na­tion­al Law Academy (APILA) will hold its fifth annual con­fer­ence in person at Sun­gky­unk­wan Uni­vers­ity in Seoul on 12–13 Decem­ber 2026, in the form of roundtable dis­cus­sions in Eng­lish. Those wish­ing to present must submit ab­stracts to apilac­on­fer­ence@gmail.com by 24 Oc­to­ber 2026.

Pro­pos­als must focus on private in­ter­na­tion­al law issues and relate to Asia, broadly defined. Pri­or­ity areas in­clude ar­bit­ra­tion and me­di­ation, data pro­tec­tion, family law in­clud­ing suc­ces­sion, Is­lam­ic private in­ter­na­tion­al law, crypto­cur­rency, sanc­tions and ar­ti­fi­cial in­tel­li­gence.
