Mol­dova ac­cedes to the 2007 Child Sup­port Con­ven­tion

The Re­pub­lic of Mol­dova de­pos­ited its in­stru­ment of ac­ces­sion on 16 Septem­ber 2026 to the Con­ven­tion of 23 Novem­ber 2007 on the In­ter­na­tion­al Re­cov­ery of Child Sup­port and Other Forms of Family Main­ten­ance. The Con­ven­tion will enter into force for Mol­dova on 22 Septem­ber 2027.

Fol­low­ing the ac­ces­sion, 56 States and the European Union will be bound by the Con­ven­tion. From its entry into force for Mol­dova, the Con­ven­tion will provide the treaty frame­work for the cross-border re­cov­ery of child sup­port and other forms of family main­ten­ance.
