On 11 December 2024, the Administrative Cooperation Working Group (ACWG) met online, hosted by the Permanent Bureau in The Hague. The meeting brought together 43 delegates and other experts, representing 19 HCCH Members and one Observer, together with members of the Permanent Bureau.
HCCH working groups met online in October and November 2024 to finalise the Practical Handbooks and Country Profiles for the 1965 Service Convention and the 1970 Evidence Convention.
The HCCH Experts’ Group on Central Bank Digital Currencies held its second working meeting online from 12 to 14 November 2024, hosted by the Permanent Bureau in The Hague.
The HCCH Working Group on Matters Related to Jurisdiction in Transnational Civil or Commercial Litigation held its seventh meeting in Tokyo from 28 October to 1 November 2024. The meeting took place in person, with an option for online participation.

In March 2024, the Council on General Affairs and Policy (CGAP) decided to establish an Experts’ Group to study the applicable law and jurisdiction issues raised by the cross-border use and transfers of CBDCs (see Conclusion and Decisions Nos 9 and 10 of CGAP 2024).

To mark the 25th anniversary of the International Hague Network of Judges, HCCH brought together Network members from more than 30 jurisdictions in The Hague on 14 October 2023.
The second meeting of the HCCH-UNIDROIT Joint Project on Digital Assets and Tokens took place in Rome from 2 to 4 October 2023, in hybrid format and at the premises of the UNIDROIT Secretariat.
